Another commission for :iconzabalou:, who reguested for Wolverine and Hellboy.
Since drawing men isn't as easy for me as drawing women, it took me some fighting and very foul language before I finally managed to get these boys on paper. *___*
Makes me proud, especially since he liked the result himself too.

Edit: Comments on, since ~Zabalou so kindly asked me to. Thanks for the feedbacks: they were quite enough!

Well, if you had trouble drawing those two, it doesn't really show!

I think it's interesting how you colorschemes are almost always on the cooler side, even when you use reds and pinks and oranges. Most other people like to use more flashy, bright colors I think. Don't take this as a crit though, I think that's just part of your unique style and makes it recognizable and gives it a somewhat dense atmosphere :)

Ah, but I always need photo-preferences for male bodies, when women come out so naturally without one. :'D

As for the colors, I first wet the whole background and let the reds, greens and oranges wash over eachother so they'd blend to eachother softer. I'm actually quite a fan for murkier colors, so your comment really made my day. Thank you for such flattering feedback! :cuddle:

But it's normal to use photo-references and only natural for the things you draw more often (or in other words, you're more familiar with for whatever reason) to come more easily! :)
Photo references aren't shameful to use in my opinion in general, I think it's the only way to get a good grip and understanding of what you're drawing... but I'm ranting here, haha.
