My part of an art-trade for , who made hers for me so soon that I had to put her ahead of my list. I think it's only fair. ^^

These are her characters Helena and Ilija. Usually Helena is the one who loves to buy things for Ilija and generally take care of her, but I wanted to picture a moment when Ilija for once could somehow return the favor: saving up money, she managed to purchase a lovely pocket-watch for Helena as a thankyou.
However, the watch resamples so much the one Helena's abusive husband used to have, that it only brings up a rush of bitter memories. Hiding her true feelings Helena gives Ilija a hug, who has no idea of her dear friend's ugly past.
